In 2019, I founded The Payroll Tax Knowledge Center, LLC in Columbus, Ohio. My number one goal is to provide an online tax knowledge resource for users and tax administrative services that will help payroll professionals both to locate payroll related tax information quickly as well as act as their administrator helping to remove tax related tasks off their desk. With 12 years of experience in payroll for small, mid-size, and large companies; doing A-Z payroll processing for multi-states, tax, garnishments as well as implementation, I noticed a recurring need in payroll departments. That there is simply not enough time or people to handle all of the incoming tax issues on top of the normal day to day payroll processing even with a dedicated payroll tax person in the department. In addition, “Tax” in the payroll world for some payroll processors sounds overwhelming and to interpret the tax law can be even further daunting.
